There's a first time for everything and this week was one of those cases! After an exciting challenge set by Harvey Norman this week to film and present a cinema advert for a new coffee machine, we see Bill give both Ciara and Jamie the bullet! We see true colours come out this week as Jamie shows his lack of faith in Ciara. Clearly throughout the episode Jamie is battling to get his point and concept across but Ciara exerts her authority as PM and rules against him. Their ad, described as a cheap porn like re-make, is torn apart by the judges and rightly so too as it just was not on the money at all, thus leading to their failure of the task.Elev8 were far from sitting pretty heading into the boardroom either. After coming up with a really good James Bond like advert, the pressure was really put back on them as the presentation fall apart at Barry's feet for the second week in a row. However as their ad was so far ahead of Fusion's attempt, there could only be one winner, Elev8!!Ciara was the first to go in the...

"We are at week nine now and I guess I have an idea of the position I need to fill, and its for that reason that I have to say, Dave, You are Fired!!!"Words that I never wanted to hear but unfortunately I did this week. After a brutal performance by team Elev8 this week I was pulled back into the Boardroom by PM Barry. I couldn't blame Barry as none of us had really put I'm a stellar performance on this task however I really that if you have an chance to present to your client, you should be able to sell them anything through presentation skills and Passion. Neither of which were shown in our presentation. We had a superb product from McEvoy Family Foods but we were unable to do the product any justice and having lost the task I felt like we had blown a brilliant chance for their small company. This really hit hard with me, but having met Suzanne Weldon from Spar during the week, she gladly informed, to my delight, that they are going launch their product in January. Thank God!!!!The Boardroom was tame this week....

Reeeesult! Could not be happier with this weeks task! Appleby Jewelers set us a fantastic task this week to create a Viral Video to promote their new e-website!Niamh took the helm for us on Fusion this week and what a job she did too... Although we got off to a tough start, with most of the group not really understanding what a viral actually is, we did eventually get it on an express track to victory! We really pooled our creativity together on this one and once we were on the same page there was no stopping us. The spilt on our team were perfect. Barry and Michelle were ideal for for shooting the viral and between myself and Niamh creating the event, we were most certainly putting our best foot forward! We all played a part in the editing of the viral and what the main show dint let you in on was that we were in the editing suite until almost 11pm that night, but we were in a confident mood when leaving. In the Westbury the following, I managed to catch a glimpse of Elev8's presentation room and there basically...

Cadburys set us a fantastic task this week to launch their biggest ever marketing campaign Spots V Stripes! When I heard the task I immediately began to smile as I knew it was right up my street, arrange a family event in a local community! Finally something I could really sink my teeth into!Michelle appointed me as sub-pm and as event manager for the day! To be honest the sub-pm position appointment was pointless as I knew I would never at any stage have to put Barry in his place. We work very well together, and as being roomies at home we understand each other. We took on that town with the attitude, "leave no stone unturned" - and that is exactly what we did. We got out on the streets, found EVERY key.community person to spread the word. We went as far as getting the event announced at mass in both churches.Once we were confident that we had created enough awareness, the task was now on to put on a show and what a show we pulled together. From modern Irish dancers, to facepainters to horse rides to even a wedding...

Urgh! The frustration on this task for me I simply cannot put into words. We had to create a calendar for Ford to promote their new Fiestaval Movement!I got rightly stuck I'm from the start of this task. I helped Sarah to the best of my ability on both the creative and management side as we were having trouble dealing with Nagaite. We were finding her to be difficult and going against the grain for what seemed to be no good reason. On top of that Panos was of no use after suffering a near life taking injury! A crick in his neck after dangerously sleeping with the window open! We were lucky he survived! ;-)The photography team made a fundamental mistake. We were doing a calendar for the Ford Fiesta, it does not take the top minds in the country to realize that we needed a photo of the car. We gave clear instruction to give us pics of the car, just incase they couldn't think of it themselves. We then had to face a battle with them in the boardroom where they claimed "they were never told to get a photo of the car"...

This week was most definitely my toughest week in the house for a number of reasons. Our task was twofold, design a bus shelter ad for WEEE Ireland, and a national marketing campaign for Adshel.I really did feel alone this week when the team was mixed up. I reply felt like I was an outsider, everything I wanted got shot down and it came to a point where I just had to fall in and do what was asked of me, which I exactly did. When in the boardroom once I saw the other advert, I was confident we had it in the bag! But then more drama, Bill produces a tablecloth I had been given from the "Burlo" at that stage I just wanted to go home. On the announcement of us winning the task, I took no joy from the victory and the thought of having to spend a night away with the team just didn't interest me.What people may not realize is that you no contact with home when in the show apart from one ten mins supervised phone and believe me it really puts a strain on!Next week I decide to fight fire with fire and demand respect from...
