So who is the bright spark?!?!

So week one kicked off with my name bouncing around a lot. Some people saying that I gave Cahal a bit of a tough time and forced him into being PM - let me just clear that one up first of all. Simply, we were given a "Sales Task" - therefor we were going to become a Sales Team. The PM was going to become a Sales Manager - why on Earth would we try turn an owner of Baber Shop (Barry Hunt) into a sales manger when we had Cahal who is already an AREA Sales Manager - I didnt want a perfectly qualified person flying under the radar on this one - if anything at all it was a compliment that I pushed for Cahal - at the end of the day I was basically saying I wanted him to lead us!!

One thing that I have to put my hand up for is, the idea of calling into the famous Renault Garage of Bill Cullen. To be honest, I still stand over the idea. We had got our only major sale of the day from a car garage, so why not try another?!?! The fact that it was Bill's garage I dont think should have mattered, ya he owns a hotel but its all the way down in Kerry. The Carlton have Fantastic hotels all over the country, why not give a bit of choice?!?! Anyway I made the decision and stuck to it, yes I was called a "bright spark" but I'm secretly thinking that Bill was not too upset, I mean he did get his garage all over TV3 - maybe I should send in an Invoice for advertising, how do ye think that would go down?? Ha ha!!

At least we won the task - off to a good start for Team Elev8. Sadly as the rules state one is fired every week, Cahal being the one to get the bullet this time - Cahal is a true gent and Ive no doubt a great business man (keep in mind thousands were trying to get into the final 16) Ive no doubt he'll do well no matter what he puts his hand to!!

On to week two and from the short trailer - looks like there's going to be sparks!! Be sure and tune and dont forget to catch me down in the East Village if you want to ask the tough questions!!
