So week two saw the fall of David O'Byrne, the marketing executive, most recently based out of New York. I'll keep this short and sweet. As much as I really like David as a friend, I just really think this process wasn't for him. He really jumped at being PM this week and I feel that this was a stoke at trying to step up amongst the men.

To be fair I really did underestimate him in the way that I thought he'd handle PM but nevertheless ultimately is was not to be. Dave took a hold of the team in charge of creating a humorous ad. To put it gently, there would be more humour in drowning. It just wasn't on the money at all at all. Not only was the ad poor but having been told his marketing strategy (his split again) was "completely and utterly wrong" he persisted to say that the director of advertising for Today Fm didn't know what he was talking about. The funniest thing of it all is that for me simply pointing out that I thought the ad was off the mark and that we didn't need to count the calories for the presentation (both points I was right about, but more importantly offered solutions to) and the I get accused of playing tactics.

Well if offering the right ideas is called "playing tactics" it seems to have worked, as I returned to the house and Mr O'Byrne did not. Tune in next week to see what tactics I'll play to get me past week three, if at all that is!!

Dave
